IT specialist Qualifications
Qualifications & Experience
- Have a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Should have strong foundation in ICT principles, like software development, and systems management.
- HAve in advanced degrees are preferred, as they demonstrate depth in technical knowledge and problem-solving.
- Relevant certifications needed such as ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), or equivalent are essential.
- Looking for minimum of 5 years of proven experience in ICT operations management.
- Have previous experience in NGOs or Development Agencies is preferred.
- have expertise in configuring, maintaining, and supporting diverse ICT environments, demonstrating the ability to handle complex technical challenges independently.
- HAve strong experience in implementing and managing ERP software solutions such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.
- Have proficiency in configuring ERP systems to align with organizational needs, ensuring seamless workflows and data integrity.
IT specialist Skills
- ICT Infrastructure Management: Hands-on experience in network administration, hardware configurations, and security protocols.
- ERP System Management: Ability to operate, maintain, and customize ERP systems to meet specific organizational requirements.
- Database Administration: Advanced knowledge and experience in SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar database systems.
- Networking & Security: Experience in setting up and managing firewalls, LAN/WAN, and other security measures to safeguard sensitive organizational data.
- Programming Proficiency: Strong skills in programming languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
- System Troubleshooting: Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve system errors efficiently.
- Additional Requirements:
- Age limit: Maximum 40 years.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to train and support non-technical staff in ERP and ICT operations.
