Communication Associate Job RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provide dedicated executive assistant support related to communication.
2. Prepare and/or consolidate comprehensive reports, documentation, correspondence, such as press releases, human interest stories, briefing notes, social media posts, etc. and conduct research in support of the office’s overall communication efforts.
3. Actively seek and use feedback to improve business processes and procedures, in relation to communication function.
4. Respond to complex business support queries in order to provide a timely and accurate resolution of enquiries for clients, such as media queries, comments on social media, etc.
5. Oversee the maintenance of multimedia databases to ensure communication resources and products are organized and readily available for staff and compliant with all relevant regulations and policies.
6. Revise and review communication materials and products, providing feedback and making appropriate amendments, contributing to communication efforts that meet time and quality standards.
7. Assist managers in collating relevant information, such as political, social, economic, and humanitarian news and analysis, from various sources, pertaining to WFP’s operations and donor policies, trends and preferences.
8. Assess and recommend improvements to communication-related procedures and practices, contributing to the effective delivery of communication services.
9. Provide a full range of complex business support services, including photography, filming, video editing, graphic design, copy-editing, social media, among other communication-related tasks, ensuring coherence and quality of the overall communication efforts of the office.
10. Coordinate among the members of the Partnerships, Communication and Reporting unit to ensure communication-related support services are delivered in a coordinated manner, consistently and to the required standards.
Communication Associate Job Requirements:
Education: Completion of University Degree (Bachelors) in Communication, Media, Journalism or in other related functional area.
Experience: Six (06) or more years of progressive work experience in the relative business stream with experience in general administrative work.
Language: Fluency in spoken and written both in English and Bangla language.
