NRC Job circular Role Overview
The Logistics Technical Assistant – Procurement will assist in the day-to-day procurement operations to support NRC’s activities in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. Under the direction of the Logistics Coordinator, the role involves procuring goods, works, and services while ensuring compliance with NRC’s policies and procedures.
Logistic Technical Assistant Key Tasks and Assignments:
Procurement & Logistics Support
- Assist Program and Support teams in generating Purchase Requests (PRs), conducting market surveys, and providing estimated pricing.
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of logistics documents in Office365 SharePoint and maintain hard copies as per audit requirements.
Tracking & Documentation
- Update the PR Tracker daily and maintain the Contracts/Long-term Agreements tracker along with other relevant records.
- Coordinate closely with the tender committee to schedule meetings, share relevant documents, support the evaluation process, and communicate with bidders.
Procurement Process & Compliance
- Ensure that procurement steps, including bid analysis, comparison tables, bid opening meeting minutes, and General Receipt Notes (GRN), are properly documented.
- Conduct market surveys and assessments at Country Office (CO), Area Office (AO), and Field Office (FO) levels.
Vendor & Payment Management
- Collect, verify, and process vendor/lessor invoices with all necessary supporting documents.
- Ensure timely submission of payment requests to the Finance team and maintain a payment tracker for future reference.
ERP & Reporting
- Utilize ERP/Agresso to monitor procurement activities and prepare monthly procurement reports for submission to the Country Logistics Manager.
- Report any potential fraud cases to the Line Manager.

Logistic Technical Assistant Key Education & Skills Requirements:
✅ Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (Supply Chain, Logistics, Marketing, etc.).
- A Supply Chain or Logistics certification is an added advantage.
✅ Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Logistics or Procurement.
- Prior experience in humanitarian or development sector procurement is a plus.
- Experience working in complex and volatile environments is desirable.
Logistic Technical Assistant Language & Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in English and Bangla (both written and verbal). Knowledge of Chittagonian is a plus.
- Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience working with procurement systems is preferred.

Logistic Technical Assistant Salary
- Grade 4 in NRC’s Salary Scale monthly Gross Salary is 58,097 BDT, with accompanying terms and conditions. NRC offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
