Project Coordinator Education Requirements:
- Master's degree in Environmental Science, Business Administration, or any Social Science from a known university.
Project Coordinator Experience:
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience in leading complex professional programs, projects, or offices for international organizations/companies.
- Experience working with NGOs will be given priority.
Project Coordinator Requirements:
- Very profound knowledge about management styles, project management methodology, international cooperation with local partners, and the stakeholder consultative process is necessary.
- Basic understanding of the reporting standards and presentation techniques of the donors to communicate effectively and tactfully to them and their stakeholders
- Thorough understanding and networking ability regarding the waste management sector in Bangladesh; good knowledge of donor organizations, INGOs, government agencies, private sector players, and business associations.

Project Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities
Program Planning:
- Translate the RESILIENT project objectives for specific project areas into SMART goals and develop an operational plan in line with Cordaid's country strategy.
- The planning for long-term expansion should be done within the budgetary and infrastructural constraints.
- Lead the transition from a RESILIENT project to a full-fledged RESILIENT program.
Project Implementation:
- Lead the implementation of the project according to agreed timelines, in close coordination and relationship building with key stakeholders such as city corporations, waste processing companies, environmental departments, community leaders, waste collectors, aggregators, and private sector companies.
- Ensure coordination and communication with the country office.
Acquisition & Bid Management:
- Provide acquisition and bid management support through technical inputs for concept notes and project proposals
- Assist in proposal writing and pursue new funding opportunities through networking and partnerships.
Strategic Program Development:
- Support the formulation and implementation of the country strategy, in close coordination with programmatic approaches, integrated into project methodologies.
- Contribute to the development of the Country Strategic Report and

Program Management:
- Manage project risk, including stakeholder relations and team performance, ensuring that deliverables are within scope, time, budget, and quality constraints.

Financial Management:
- Ensure project budgeting while making sure that expenses incurred are within the timing of the project.
- Regular reporting on financial performance and proactive resolution of budget compliance issues.
Donor Coordination & Communication:
- Regular coordination with donors is necessary, adhering to their policies and procedures.
- Information shall be provided in a timely and accurate manner to meet reporting requirements by donors.
Field & Partner Engagement:
- Monitoring of programmatic performance at the field level through reports, review, data analysis, and insights for stakeholders.
- Partners' needs and contexts are considered in identifying and providing customized support.
Networking & Representation:
- Network and liaison with local relevant organizations to explore opportunities for collaboration within the scope of Cordaid's mission.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Collect data regarding the project, report on implementation progress, finances, deviations, and corrective actions.
- Produce quality annual, semi-annual, and final project reports.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL):
- Lead program learning, identify opportunities for research and best practices worth disseminating
- Ensure innovations and evidence-based approaches are integrated.

- Lead and manage a multicultural, multidisciplinary project team, ensuring professional growth, productivity, and job satisfaction.
