World Vision Bangladesh is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage key projects in Noakhali. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects aligned with the organization’s mission to improve the lives of vulnerable communities.

Project Manager Job Responsibilities 

Lead project design, implementation, and monitoring to ensure desired outcomes.

Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including local communities, government authorities, and partner organizations.

Provide leadership and guidance to project staff, fostering a motivated team environment.

Ensure compliance with World Vision policies and donor requirements.

Prepare and submit reports on project progress and impact.

Lead the Noakhali Flash Flood Early Recovery Project team to achieve the organization’s Vision, Mission, and Program Objectives effectively.

Ensure the timely and cost-effective implementation of project activities by the implementing partner, adhering to World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) and donor policies and standards.

Oversee the partnership project through regular monitoring, follow-up, and capacity strengthening of the implementing partner.

Conduct regular monitoring of program implementation, analyze monitoring data, and ensure follow-up actions are aligned and on track.

Ensure excellent stewardship in resource mobilization, allocation, and utilization, complying with WV Financial Policies and procedures.

Guide the implementing partner in mobilizing local communities, Disaster Management Committees, child and youth groups, faith leaders, local government authorities, and other stakeholders to build their capacity for implementing the approved plan.

Maintain seamless communication to ensure the timely flow of information between the implementing partner NGO, Area Coordination Office, Cluster Office, National Office, Support Office, and government and non-government stakeholders.

Establish and strengthen networks and partnerships with government entities, NGOs, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), churches, and Faith-Based Organizations (FBOs)

Ensure timely reporting and response communication with district and Upazila administration, government offices, NGOs, AP Team, ACO, Cluster, National Office, and Support Office, following established protocols.

Ensure all project deliverables are implemented on time and in compliance with WV policies, standards, and donor requirements.

Project Manager Job Requirements

Project Manager Job Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Development Studies, or a related field.

Project Manager Job Experience: 

• Minimum of 3-5 years in project management, preferably in the NGO sector.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Bengali.
• Willingness to travel and work in field locations
