Requirements for Accountant 2024

Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/business from a reputed university

ACCA/CA partly qualified

Experience: At least 7 years

Strong analytical skills, leadership skills, and a passion for growth.

CC certified or experience working in an audit firm

Real estate operations or relevant experience Knowledge of terminology

Analytical and strategically minded

Highly organized and detail-oriented

Hard-working and willing to work long hours

Excellent communicator and negotiator

Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

Responsible for Accounting 2024

- Prepare and update internal checkbook summaries, bank withdrawal records, bank reconciliation reports, and cash expense management systems.  

- Develop and manage audit plans.  

- Maintain professional correspondence with payees, stakeholders, and accounts payable units to ensure smooth operations.  

- Handle communication with clients regarding incoming payments and accounts receivable matters.  

- Demonstrate strong knowledge of VAT and tax regulations.  

- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.  

- Conduct analyses of audit data, leveraging computer-aided audit tools where applicable.  

- Verify cash, bank, and journal vouchers to ensure accuracy.  

- Perform physical verification of fixed assets and inventory as needed.  

- Coordinate and oversee monthly audits across all departments to ensure compliance.  

- Utilize online banking platforms effectively for financial management tasks.  

- Analyze and evaluate accounting and financial documents for accuracy and compliance.  

- Establish robust processes for managing revenue, expenditures, departmental budgets, and operational financial issues.  

- Review and process invoices, bank reconciliations, bank payments, journal vouchers, and monthly payroll.  

- Undertake any additional tasks assigned by management as required.
