Responsibilities
- Understand the business requirements and goals of the product, and align them with the needs of the target market and customers.
- Use of TAFJ/Java to develop or to interface with T24 applications.
- Recommend improvements to existing T24 technical and business processes in order to meet the IPDC’s requirements.
- Translate the business needs and Requirement Specifications into Design Specifications
- Serve as a technical lead contributing to and directing the efforts of development teams, including internal and external team members.
- Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the existing content supply portfolio of applications and services.
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software components anywhere in the software stack.
- Determine root cause for the most complex software issues and develop practical, efficient, and permanent technical solutions.
- Remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages; evaluate and make recommendations as necessary.
- Assist in task planning, estimation, scheduling, and staffing.
- Mentor Software Engineers to allow for skill/knowledge development through advice, coaching, and training opportunities.
- Determine process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes.
- Work in close partnership with cross-functional teams and management.
Background and Skills
- 7+ experience in software development, scripting, and project management
- 3+ years of experience in developing interface and local for Temenos T24 CBS
- Strong Understanding of core banking system specially Temenos T24
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Experienced with data analysis and user research to inform product decisions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, able to clearly convey product vision and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Skilled in agile product development methodologies and have experience working with JIRA, Trello, Asana, and other project management tools.
- Extensive experience in using system monitoring tools and automated testing frameworks
- 5+ years of experience in programming languages such as Java/Java EE, .Net, Python, C++ etc.,
- Comprehensive knowledge of databases
