Incumbent will be responsible for energy business in Bangladesh which includes Renewable, Power & Gas, Energy Transition, and Fuels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Role of Key Account Management for the Energy sub sectors;
- Mapping the potential opportunities in a periodic basis;
- Early tracking of projects and active persuasion of projects;
- Acting as Internal Project Manager or Project Director (depending on the project) for ongoing and upcoming projects in the energy sector for Bangladesh;
- Building the energy team in a sustainable way;
- Participation or management of various other relevant technical consulting assignments;
- Preparation of reports for the clients as required and quality control for the internal report preparation process;
- Frequent Coordinating with Regional Director SA and Executive Directors of Renewable, Power & Gas, Energy Transition and Fuels;
Key Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor’s in Engineering in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Civil from reputed public university;
- Industry background and more than 15 years’ relevant work experience in Energy sectors in Bangladesh;
- Having prior experience working directly with public sector for Energy sector will be added advantage to the position;
- Having prior experiences in Engineering Consulting companies/EPC Contractors will be added advantage;
- Having leadership positions (example engineering manager, project manager, etc) in projects undertaken will be added advantage;
Additional Capabilities required
- Fluency in English
- Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in client interaction and capability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work well with people from a range of cultures.
- Ability to work independently.
