Duties 

• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, defining project goals, objectives, and deliverables.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
• Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction phases.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure quality control.
• Manage and lead a team of engineers, construction workers, and subcontractors.
• Facilitate clear communication and collaboration between all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and deliver project status reports to keep stakeholders informed. 
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining project quality.
• Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping

Qualifications 

Education

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial/Civil), Construction Management, or a related field.

Experience

• At most 7 years

Additional Requirements

• PMP Certification (preferred). At least 6 to 7 years of experience as a Project Manager in the engineering and construction sector.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Report writing and presentation skills using best available tools.
